Both XM and Sirius requested changes to how they would meeting the Canadian Talent Development funding required by their licenses in Canada. The proposal would have increased funding in the early years at the expense of the later years. The CRTC, the Canadian equivalent of the FCC, denied the request of XM and Sirius today.
