XM Files for a 30 Day Application to Operate a Repeater at the Harrah's Casino Hotel

Today, XM filed an application to operate a low powered substitute repeater at the Harrah's Casino Hotel. The repeater will be in place of the one that used to operate at the StarDust Hotel. The repeater will operate at an average of 1,068 Watt EIRP, or 5,500 Watt peak EIRP.

Look for the WCS Coalition to go ballistic over this one, since is operates above 2,000 Watt peak EIRP, even though it is less powerful than the repeater that it replaces and that there is no WCS operation with which it could possibly interfere.
